Our Founder
Dr. Sylvia Abbeyquaye is a dynamic and accomplished healthcare professional with a diverse background in nursing education, long-term care consulting, and entrepreneurship. With a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana, Dr. Abbeyquaye's journey in healthcare began early in her career.
Upon immigrating to the United States, Dr. Abbeyquaye pursued further education, earning a Master's in Public Administration from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. Her passion for nursing led her to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UMASS-Amherst, followed by a Ph.D. in nursing from the same institution in 2018. Dr. Abbeyquaye's career has seen her progress from a Certified Nurse Assistant to a Director of Nursing, gaining valuable insights and experience along the way.

As an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University, she remains committed to teaching, mentoring, and advocating for staff development in long-term care settings. Dr. Abbeyquaye is the author of "Navigating Long-term Care: A Practical Approach for Nurses". Her upcoming book, "The Talent Retention Code," scheduled for release in April 2024, will offer innovative strategies for attracting and retaining top talent.
